SFTA, Ryan Chute Memorial Trials Update

(1/1)

Derek Thomas:
Well the spring hasn't been kind to us in Saskatchewan in 2013.  Our cities are finally starting to thaw, but the open prairie still resembles a frozen tundra.

For the 5th year in a row we have scheduled our 1st round of 2013, for the final Sunday of April.  I drove up to the Trials site at the Chute farm and discovered the parking lot is completely unusable for this coming weekend putting this site off the radar for this coming Sunday.

However we always have our fail-safe site off Petrolia Rd. east of Moose Jaw.  I do have to inspect this site as well to ensure access is available and that enough of the pit can be utilized to make up a full trial.  If this option is not available we will postpone the event until the following Sunday.

Lets hope we can finally get on our bikes sooner rather than later.

Thanks,
SFTA Secretary,
Derek Thomas

Derek Thomas:
Unfortunately we have had to delay our first event of the 2013 season, by 1 week.  the new date is Sunday, May 5th for the Ryan Chute Memorial Trials.  The good news is that it is absolutely balmy and we have lots of riding to make up for.

We are really excited to get going this season.  There has been tremendous interest in Trials and we expect our club and event attendance to double this season.  We have a 5 rounds season in Saskatchewan, for 2013, but will be open to more, as new riders begin inviting us to new locations and events.

Cheers,
Derek
