Trials Training and Technique School in SK, May 11th

(1/1)

Derek Thomas:
As part of the 2013 Trial des Nations Team Canada, Trials schools, I (Derek Thomas) will be hosting a one day school near Moose Jaw, SK.

Now time to blow my own whistle a little bit, so riders know what kind of background I have in the sport.  3 x's TdN Team Canada rider.  15 x's, FIM World Championship GP's, 1 Scottish Six Day Trials,  10 x's top 5 in Canada.

The Trials and Technique School will take place on Saturday, May 11th, at the Petrolia Pit.  Entry fee will be $25, with all profits going to the Canadian Trial des Nations team fund.  We are nearly half sold out, so book your spot fast.

Itinerary: Bike set-up, body position and balance skills, turning and hoping, throttle and brake control, reading sections, picking lines and gear selection and riding small obstacles.  We will move into larger obstacles and advanced techniques for those who wish.  If you have a particular area you wish to have some focus on, please send it to me in advance and I will do my best to include it in our itinerary.  Spotting will be available all day long.

It will be a great day of on bike training and learning what you and your machine are capable of.

Cheers,
Derek

Michael:
Fantastic idea Derek!

Having these sessions this time of year is a great way to get things going across the country.
It is also great to see the countries top riders giving back to those of us with lesser skills - A true win win for all involved !!!
I encourage as many people as possible to get out and help out their skills and our TdN team  8)

Cheers,
Michael
